Use the W X arrow keys to select Config or Monitor, and then press ENTER.
5.2.3.2.1 TEST: BERT
Æ Config
BERT Tx must selected as ON in order to monitor BERT testing, as this changes the
format of the DVB frame sent and expected DVB frame received.

Use the W X arrow keys to select the BERT configuration parameters, and then use the ST
arrow keys to edit that parameter setting. Note the following:
Feature Selection
BERT Tx Off, On
BERT Pattern 2047, 2^15-1 (2 15 -1), 2^23-1 (2 23 -1)

Restart Insert Error
Press ENTER to start the BERT Monitor. To clear all counts and re‐initiate testing, use the W X
arrow keys to select Restart, and then press ENTER.
If you previously selected BERT Tx: Off and you attempt to access this menu, the display appears
as follows:
BER= CTx BERT State is OFF!
Restart Press CLEAR to exit.
Press CLEAR as prompted to return to the TEST: BERT → Config menu to select BERT Tx: On.
