The example below shows how to access and use the test mode. NOTE: While on the
home screen or summary screens, pressing and holding the Enter button for five
seconds will move you directly to the test menu and bypass Steps 1, 2, and 3.
1. First press the Prg button . This will take
you to the main menu. Now, press the Down
Arrow button
to scroll down until you
reach the “Service” Menu selection. NOTE:
[ ] Brackets are around the current selection.
2. Once [Service] is selected, press the Enter
button . ( NOTE: This moves you to the
service menu page.)
3. Now, press the Down Arrow button to
scroll down until you reach the “Test Menu”
menu selection and press the Enter button
.
The manual test mode is used to assist in the start-up procedure. The manual test mode allows each component to be
staged individually to allow for start-up of the system. The manual test mode allow the fans to be started and modulated,
the wheel to be started, the reversing valve to be set (heat/cool) and the heat pump to be started and modulated.

6. Now that the unit is in manual test mode,
the user has the ability to stage the unit
manually to test the individual components.
NOTE: The unit is allowed a maximum of
three hours in test mode. If additional time
is needed, pressing the “PRG” button
while on the test screens will reset the time
4. Now you are in the “Test Mode” menu. Press
the Down Arrow button to scroll down
until you reach the “Test Mode” selection.
5. Press the Enter button to select the
mode setpoint. This will move the blinking
curser off the bracket and over to the
setpoint. Now, press the down
or up
arrow button to change from the “Off” mode
to the “Manual” Mode. Once the setpoint
is adjusted to the desired position, press
the Enter button
to accept the new
setpoint. Once the unit is in the Manual
mode, the additional menus will be available
by pressing the down
or up arrow
button.
