Unit Mounted Interface Display
An operator display is mounted on the wall of the control compartment. This display gives the user access to parameters
and alarms. Additionally, it is used to monitor status, adjust setpoints, override points, and edit time schedules. All values
are displayed with an explanatory text in the alphanumeric display window. Key features of the display include a backlit
LCD that enhances reading even in poor lighting conditions, 6 backlit buttons, simple to use menus, password protec-
tion for security, and an eight-line by 22 character display.
The unit interface display module in the unit (and the remote display in Option RB5) is equipped with six push buttons
as shown in
FIGURE 29. The function of each button is described below.
BELL “Alarm Button” is a shortcut key used to move to the active alarm screen. When there is an
active alarm present, the button will be red.
PRG Button has multiple functions. When on the Home page or on a summary menu the “PRG” button
is used to move you to the main menu. When in a menu screen with a question mark (?) in the top right
corner the
“PRG” button will bring up the built-in help screen. When in test mode, pressing the “PRG”
button will reset the test mode time limit back to the maximum time therefore extending the test mode.
ESC Button is used to cancel a setpoint change before the Enter button is used to accept the change. It
is also used to move back to the previous screen when navigating the menus.
UP Arrow Button is used to move the cursor upwards in a menu list or to move to previous alarm or
logged record. It is also used to increase the value of a setpoint when the setpoint is selected.
ENTER Button is used to select a line, indicated by the brackets [ ]. This button also makes changes
effective.
DOWN Arrow Button is used to move the cursor downwards in a menu list or to move to next alarm or
logged record. It is also used to decrease the value of a setpoint when the setpoint is selected.
