When setting up Variable Cam Control for the first time default values may need to be added into the
“PID settings” These can be accessed by clicking on the “Adjust PID settings” button. Default values
should be set as follows:

Refer to tuning guide section for detailed instruction on how to setup and tune variable cam timing.

VTEC (Load and RPM switch)

This feature allows the operation of the variable valve timing associated with some engines. This feature
acts purely to control a switching solenoid and is not capable of controlling continuously variable valve
timing.

On RPM - The VTEC output activates when the engine speed exceeds this RPM.

On Load - The VTEC output activates when the engine load exceeds this value.

Off RPM – The VTEC output de-activates when the engine speed exceeds this RPM

Off Load – The VTEC output de-activates when the engine load exceeds this value.

Both Load and RPM conditions must be met before the VTEC output becomes active.
