Starting and Stopping the SMTP Gateway
Manually starting and stopping the NET SatisFAXtion service is rarely needed
because all configuration utilities will restart the service if needed.
The easiest way to start and stop the SMTP Gateway is via the
LoaderConsole icon in the notification area. Right click on the icon, and choose
Start to start the service, or choose Stop to stop the service.
You can also start or stop the service from the Start menu, under Programs ►
NET SatisFAXtion ► SMTP Gateway Service (Start & Stop).
Finally you can start or stop the service from the Services control panel, though
this method is not as user-friendly as the others. In particular you will not
receive any feedback to know when the SMTP Gateway has finished loading all
modules and is ready to send and receive emails.
