28439: SIP 400 Messages
These are error codes returned by the media gateway or fax service. The second
number listed is the equivalent standard SIP code. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE .
28416 400 Bad request. Error type: NON_RETRYABLE .
28417 401 Unauthorized. Error type: NON_RETRYABLE .
28418 402 Payment required. Error type: NON_RETRYABLE .
28419 403 Forbidden. Error type: NON_RETRYABLE .
28420 404 Not found: The gateway rejected the initial INVITE with a
generic “404 Not found,” and did not include an additional Q.850 cause code.
This could be because no SIP route could be found for the destination phone
number. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE .
28421 405 Method not allowed. Error type: NON_RETRYABLE .
28422 406 Not acceptable. Error type: NON_RETRYABLE .
28423 407 Proxy authentication required. A username and password
are required to communicate with the gateway. Run Re-Detect Fax Devices and
configure a proxy username and password. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE .
28424 408 Request timeout. Error type: NON_RETRYABLE .
28426 410 Gone. Error type: NON_RETRYABLE .
28429 413 Request entity too large. Error type: NON_RETRYABLE .

28431 415 Unsuppor ted media type. The media gateway does not

28496 480 Temporarily Unavailable: The gateway rejected the initial
