1382 Invalid command received in receive phase D. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE .
1383 Unable to continue after PIN or PIP. Error type: NON_RETRYABLE .
1583 Bad open ring 0 / kernel mode driver: There is another instance
of the Class1 driver already loaded, or the Windows account attempting to load
the driver does not have Administrative permissions. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE .
1599 No modem response: The modem did not respond to any commands.
Check cabling or if this is a PCI card modem, check that the card is properly
seated. Also try shutting the server down, leaving it off for 60 seconds, and
powering it back on. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE .
1600 Invalid response from modem: The modem sent a response not
allowed by the Class 2 specification. Error type: NON_RETRYABLE .
1601 Not a Class 2 modem: The modem does not support the Class 2
command set. Error type: NON_RETRYABLE .
1602 Send data was not supplied to the modem fast enough: Check
serial port settings to ensure the fax server can send data fast enough to the
modem. Error type:
RETRYABLE .
1607 Send collided with receive: An outbound port was allocated just as
the port began to receive a call. Error type: BUSY .
1619 Timeout sending or receiving data from modem: Either the
driver timed out on the modem during send or receive or a +FHNG code was
greater than 255. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE .
1620 Busy: A busy tone was detected. Error type: BUSY .
1621 No dial tone: By default, the modem will listen for dial tone before
trying to place an outbound call. The most common cause of this error is not
having a working phone line plugged into this port. If the phone lines do not
provide dial tone, the modem must be configured to not detect dial tone before
dialing (see
dial_progress_mode ). Error type: NO_DIAL_TONE .
1622 Modem did not detect fax device on answering side: Call was
not answered by a fax. Error type: NO_ANSWER .
1623 Modem did not detect fax device on answering side: The driver
received something other than +FCON from the modem upon answering the
line. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE .
1624 No answer: No response from modem during answer for receive. Error
type: NON_RETRYABLE .
1625 Call hung up before fax was complete: The modem returned a NO
CARRIER while sending. Error type: RETRYABLE .
1624 No Answer, remote device did not respond to handshake: The
call connected but the remote device failed to respond to repeated attempts to
handshake. The timer is 35 seconds. Error type:
NON_RETRYABLE .
1626 Modem abor ted the fax: The modem returned an +FHNG:0 even
though the fax was not complete. Error type: RETRYABLE .
