8. (applies only to 12-volt potted battery packs) Remove the
foam spacer disc seated on top of the battery.
9. Pull out the battery pack from the canister using the white
handle attached to the top of the pack.
10. (applies only to 12-volt unpotted battery packs) Lift off the
retainer plug from the top of the battery pack, and disconnect
the PCB from the battery pack in the following way:
12-volt battery pack with retainer plug
