Connect Primary Hoses to Towers
316. Select two or four (double-shoot)
800-180C 2 1/2 AIR HOSE BAND CLAMP
Slide a clamp onto center section primary hoses
A&B (and F&G for double-shoot).
Slide the hoses onto their respective tower inlets for
a distance of about 5cm (2in). Position the clamps
about 2.5cm (1in) from the end of the hose and
secure. Tighten clamps only enough to prevent
hoses from working loose. be careful not to crush
hose.
317. Adjust vertical position of base towers so that top of
hose at inlets is in gentle contact with drill frame or
tower mount. Secure U-bolts to hold this position.
Do not over-tighten.
Refer to Figure 143 (which depicts the right wing at a later
stage of assembly)
318. Route wing primary hoses:
A (and E) to left wing
D (and H) to right wing
under center frame and through hoops
face of wing tubes, then out to tower mounts.
Note: Hoses G and F will cross each other to reach their
respective towers. This is normal.

Slide the hoses onto to their respective tower inlets
for a distance of about 5cm (2in). Position the
