Install WSMBs
WSMBs are Working Set MemBer modules, which are
the interface between the sensor row harnesses and the
monitor CANbus. There are four or five WSMBs on an
NTA607HD drill. WSMBs bear serial numbers, which are
printed on their labels
, and match an electronically-
readable serial number used to enumerate WSMBs.
Connect WSMBs to the monitor CANbus in serial num-
ber order. On the NTA607HD, this is serial number order
from left to right across the implement.
Install Tower WSMBs
Four WSMBs mount on base/seed towers.
Refer to Figure 138
307. Select all of:

Arrange the WSMBs on a surface, from left to right,
in serial number
order. If there are 5, set the mid-
dle WSMB aside as the 5th WSMB.
Starting with the left wing tower:

308. Select the left-most WSMB:

and two sets:

803-006C NUT HEX 1/4-20 PLT :
309. With the connectors facing down (at a 45 ° angle),
mount the WSMB on the angle mount , on the
face away from the tower, using the bolts , lock
washers and nuts .
310. Repeat step 308 and step 309 for the center-left,
center-right and right wing towers.
Install 5th WSMB
If the drill is a single-shoot/hopper model, or a 32-row
model, it only has four WSMBs. If there is no 5th WSMB,
continue at “Install Row Harnesses” on page 78.

311. Select the remaining one:

802-224C HHCS 1/4-20X1 1/4 GR5
804-006C WASHER LOCK SPRING 1/4 PLT
803-006C NUT HEX 1/4-20 PLT :
With connectors facing down, and mounting ears of
the WSMB
to the front, install the WSMB on the
monitor mount installed at step 275, using the
bolts , lock washers and nuts .
