It also incorporates several types of effects. Behaviors are used to move the colored
bars and control the opacity of different objects, while filters are used to colorize the
boxes, and keyframes are used to animate the graphics.
5 Choose File > Close (or press Command+W ) to close the project.
Important: If you made any changes to the project, Motion prompts you to save. Click
Don’t Save.
Opening the Starting Project
Open and preview the starting project for this tutorial. This project is identical to the
Tutorial 1 Result project, except that it does not include the animated boxes or logo.
This tutorial instructs you to add those graphic elements later in the steps.
To preview the starting project:
1 Choose File > Open (or press Command+O ).
2 In the Open dialog, navigate to the Tutorial Projects folder (default is /Users/Shared/
Motion/Tutorial Media/Tutorial Projects ).
3 Select Tutorial 1 Start, then click Open.
The 150-frame Tutorial 1 Start project appears.
4 Click the Play button (or press the Space bar ).
