2 Transmission
2.1 General fax operation
This section contains information on the general operation for sending a fax.
An example of the basic procedure for sending a fax of a single-side docu-
ment scanned using the ADF is described below.
To send a fax

Press the [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax mode screen.

Touch [Quality & Reduc-
tion] and [FAX Menu],
and then specify the de-
sired settings.

Specify the fax number of the recipient.
– The recipient can be specified in any of the following ways.
– Direct dialing
– One-touch dial buttons
– Program buttons
