10.10 Registering the ID displayed on the recipient’s ma-
chine (“Self-ID” parameter)
If the machine’s name or telephone number is registered as an ID, that infor-
mation will appear in the recipient’s reports and machine control panel, al-
lowing the receiver to easily check where the fax was sent from.

Note
Depending on the recipient’s fax machine, the machine’s ID may not ap-
pear. In this case, the registered telephone number will appear to identify
the machine.
To register the machine’s ID

After entering Administrator mode, touch [Admin. 1].
