Viewing Device Properties
To view Device properties:
4 On the viewLinc desktop, select Options | System Configuration
| Locations Manager
and select a Device from the middle
Devices pane. Device and Host details appear in the Device
Properties area, lower right of the screen.
Column Displays
Device Details tab
Description Device Description.
Serial Number The serial number associated with the
Device.
Sample Interval The interval between samples taken from
Device.
Device Address Address of Device with protocol type.
Channels Number of Channels associated with
Device.
Channel Description Description entered for Channel.
Device Units Units measured (RH, C, mA, mV, etc.).
Host Details tab
Hostname Displays name of the Host of the selected
Device/Channel.
Resolved Name For administrative purposes.
Host IP Address Host’s IP Address
