Upgrading a cluster

A cluster can be upgraded by upgrading one device at a time. Once all of the devices are running
the new software, you can configure the replication settings as needed.

TIP:

We recommend that you do not make configuration changes while upgrading a cluster.
To upgrade a cluster:

1.

Log in to the Management Console as an administrator with Software Upgrade and System
Health access control.

2.

Upgrade the software on the device.

3.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each member of the cluster.

Deleting a cluster

A cluster is deleted when the last member is removed from the cluster.

To delete a cluster:

1.

Log in the Management Console of the device that will be removed from the cluster as an
administrator with Cluster access control.

2.

Navigate to the Cluster Settings section of the Cluster Configuration page (Device > Cluster).

3.

Click Remove From Cluster.

4.

Repeat these steps for each member of the cluster.

Date and time procedures

Setting the date and time on the SKM

To set the date and time on the SKM:

1.

Log in to the Management Console as an administrator with Network and Date/Time access
control.

2.

Navigate to the Date and Time Settings section of the Date & Time Configuration page (Device
> Date & Time).

3.

Click Edit.

4.

Modify the Date, Time, and Time Zone fields as needed.

5.

Click Save.

Configuring an NTP server connection

To configure an NTP server connection:

1.

Log in to the Management Console as an administrator with Network and Date/Time access
control.
