Network Interfaces sections
The Network Configuration page contains the following network interface-related section:
Network Interface List
Network Interface settings are viewed and modified from the Network Interfaces tab on the Network
Configuration page. Use the Network Interface List section to view and set network interfaces for the
SKM.

Description
Component
Type the IP Address to bind to the SKM.
IP Address
Type the subnet mask associated with the IP address.
Subnet Mask
The network interface to which the IP address is bound. The number of Interfaces on
the SKM depends on which model you are using. Network Interfaces are located on
the back of the device.

Gateways & Routing sections
The Network Configuration page contains the following gateway and routing-related sections:
• Default Gateway List
• Static Route List
Default Gateway List
The Default Gateway List section of the Network Configuration page provides a view of the default
gateways used by the SKM for routing. A default gateway is used to identify the IP address to which
all packets destined for a remote network are routed. One default gateway can be associated with
each physical interface. Most network configurations require only a single default gateway. Multiple
default gateways might be necessary for network configurations where multiple interfaces of the SKM
are connected to the network.
When using multiple interfaces, you must indicate which interface will handle outgoing connections.
When using one gateway, that interface is automatically used for outgoing connections.
