Sign Certificate Request
Use the Sign Certificate Request section to sign certificate requests.

The following table describes the components of the Sign Certificate Request section.

Description
Component
Select the CA that will sign the certificate request.
Sign with Certificate
Authority
Select where the certificate will be used, either on the client or the server.
Certificate Purpose
Specify the period during which the certificate is valid. The default value for this field
is 364, but this value may not be larger than the maximum duration allowed for the
selected CA.
Certificate Duration
(days)
Select where the certificate will be used, either on the server or client.
Certificate Request
Click Sign Request to sign the request.
Sign Request
Click Back to return to the Local CAs tab.

Signed Certificates
Use the Show Signed Certs button to display all certificates signed by a local CA. Displaying signed
certificates helps you to track and maintain certificates on the SKM.
