Copy the XP Remote Web Console configuration in-
formation onto floppy disk(s) using the FD Dump Tool
(see “
Downloading Trace Files Using the FD Dump
” on page 125), and provide this information to
your HP account support representative.

Close all panes and then log on to XP Remote
Web Console again.
When you switch panes from one panel to the XP Remote
Web Console panel, the XP Remote Web Console panel is
not redrawn.
Select (click on) the dialog box again.
If you select (click on) the XP Remote Web Console main
panel while displaying a dialog box, the dialog box disap-
pears (hides) behind the XP Remote Web Console main
panel.
Select the XP Auto LUN Software panel or the
XP Performance Control Software panel again.
If you select (click on) the XP Remote Web Console main
panel while using Auto LUN XP or Performance Control XP,
these panes disappear (hide) behind the XP Remote Web
Console main panel.
Even if the panes are closed, the processing
continues normally.
Press
on the XP Auto LUN Software panel and the XP
Performance Control Software panel remains active, even if
you click Apply, and the process is being executed. In this
case, the panes are closed if you click
.
If the Mozilla browser or the Java virtual ma-
chine hangs abnormally, you must delete the
abnormal processes before you can continue
the XP Remote Web Console operations.
The Web browser is forcibly (abnormally) closed.
Calling the HP Support Center
If you need to call the HP Support Center, make sure you can provide as much information about the
problem as possible. Include the circumstances surrounding the error or failure, the XP Remote Web
Console configuration information saved in the floppy diskette(s) by the FD Dump Tool, the exact
content of any messages displayed on the XP Remote Web Console, and the severity levels and
reference codes displayed on the Status tab of the XP Remote Web Console main panel (see
).
