5. Stake the next design point.
a. We want to stake the next design point in the
project. The Design Point should automatically
advance by the Increment value. Make sure the
Design Point is set to 3 and then tap Solve > to
open the second Stake Points screen.
b. The information needed to locate the next design
point is displayed. When connected to a total
station, you would turn the total station
horizontally to 115°00’00”, vertically to 90°00’00”
and send the rod man out about 100 feet before
continuing. Tap the
. Stake > . button to continue
to the third screen.
c. Tap the Shot button and enter the following
shot data:
Angle Right: 115
Zenith: 90
Slope Dist: 99.8 and then tap (OK) to continue.
