Windows Networking
Survey Pro supports the use of a cellular phone as a modem to
communicate with an NTRIP server when using VRS.
Before using VRS for the first time, it is necessary to setup Windows
Networking and configure Survey Pro to use a cellular phone as a
modem. This process is different depending on if you are using a data
collector with a removable Socket Bluetooth adaptor, described below,
or a data collector with built-in Bluetooth as described on Page 333.
Windows Networking with a Removable Bluetooth
Adaptor
The steps below explain how to configure Windows Networking to use
a cellular phone as a modem either via Bluetooth or a communication
cable on a data collector that uses a removable Socket Bluetooth
adaptor. (If your data collector had built-in Bluetooth, refer to Page
333.)
If communicating with the cellular phone via Bluetooth, it is assumed
you have already gone through the process of pairing with the phone
as described on Page 321.
1. From the Main Menu, go to Job > Settings > Receiver.
2. With the desired remote receiver activated and
