+CMGD - Delete Message

Note: the behaviour of command +CMGD differs depending on whether or not the improved SMS
commands operation mode has been enabled (see #SMSMODE).

Execution command deletes from memory the message(s).

Parameter:
- message index in the selected storage that can
have values form 1 to N, where N depends on the available space
(see +CPMS)
- an integer indicating multiple message deletion request.
0 (or omitted) - delete message specified in
1 - delete all read messages from storage, leaving unread

messages and stored mobile originated messages (whether sent
or not) untouched

2 - delete all read messages from storage and sent mobile

originated messages, leaving unread messages and unsent mobile
originated messages untouched

3 - delete all read messages from storage, sent and unsent

mobile originated messages, leaving unread messages untouched

4 - delete all messages from storage.

Note: if is present and not set to 0 then is ignored
and ME shall follow the rules for shown above.

Note: if the location to be deleted is empty, an error message is
reported.

AT+CMGD=?

Test command shows the valid memory locations and optionally the
supported values of .
