Parameters:
- depending on the command or result code:

first octet of GSM 03.40 SMS-DELIVER, SMS-SUBMIT (default 17),
SMS-STATUS-REPORT, or SMS-COMMAND (default 2) in integer
format.

- depending on SMS-SUBMIT setting:

GSM 03.40 TP-Validity-Period either in integer format (default 167) or
in quoted time-string format

- GSM 03.40 TP-Protocol-Identifier in integer format.
- depending on the command or result code:

GSM 03.38 SMS Data Coding Scheme (default 0), or Cell
Broadcast Data Coding Scheme


Note: the current settings are stored through +CSAS

Note: issuing AT+CSMP is the same as issuing the Read command.

Note: issuing AT+CSMP= is the same as issuing the command
AT+CSMP=0.

AT+CSMP?

Read command reports the current setting in the format:

+CSMP: < fo>,,,

AT+CSMP=?

Test command reports the supported range of values for , ,
and parameters.

Example

Set the parameters for an outgoing message with 24 hours
of validity period and default properties:

AT+CSMP=17,167,0,0
