Assemble Decking
1. Align A6 and A8 on platform decking weldment with A6 and A8 on the external platform supports.
2. Install platform decking weldment to the platform support channels using twenty four (24)
1/2" x 1" bolt and nuts. (See Figure 12D.)
3. Attach the flange of the toe board short side to the bottom of the 18" decking using two (2)
1/2" x 1" bolt and nuts. Then attach 18" decking to the external platform support using one
1/2" x 1" bolt and nut.

4. Align flange of end toe board along the bottom of decking. Connect end toe board to decking using
1/2" x 1" bolts and nuts. (See Figure 12G on Page 94.)
5. Install the corner “W” post at the same time as the toe board filler plate. Attach toe board filler plate
to the decking toe boards located across from the entrance. Attach the flat end first using two (2)
5/16" x 3/4" flange bolts and nuts. Then line up the holes of the toe board filler plate with the decking
toe board, while also aligning the holes of the “W” post on the corner. Fasten all three (3) together
with four (4) 5/16" x 3/4" flange bolts and nuts.
