Remove the toner cartridges
1.
Open the right side door and remove the four toner cartridges.
2.
Wipe off any loose toner in and around the printer.
Caution
Make sure that you leave the side door open for a minimum
amount of time; light exposure can damage the Imaging Unit.
3.
Replace the protective cover for each toner cartridge; repack them
for shipping or storage in their original shipping boxes.
Secure the doors and output tray
1.
Close all printer doors and secure them with adhesive tape.
2.
Raise the output tray and secure it to the printer with adhesive
tape.
If you don’t have a Lower Tray Assembly, go to “Repack the
printer” on page 6-23.
