Consumable life information
This printer provides several convenient methods for accessing the
information you need on the life of the user-replaceable components.
Resource Information provided How to access
Consumables Page % Remaining gauge for each of the
following:
■ Toner (each color has its own gauge)
■ Imaging Unit
■ Transfer Kit
■ Fuser
■ Fuser Roll
To Print:
1. Press the Menu button on the front panel.
2. Press Menu again to access the
Help Pages menu.
3. Press an arrow button ( <--- or ---> )
to scroll through the selections until
Consumables Page appears.
4. Press the Print button.
Use the Consumables Page to note the remaining life of the components and to analyze
print quality and determine what action to take. Refer to “Maintaining print quality” on
page 7-6 for detailed information.
