Cleaning the paper-pick and paper-feed rollers
Note If you have a Lower Tray Assembly, you may also need to clean
the rollers for the middle and lower media trays, which are
accessed by the
lower left side door. Refer to the procedure on
page 6-14.
1. Slide the media tray(s) out (you do not have to remove them) to
allow access to the paper-pick and paper-feed rollers.
2. Open the left side door to access the rollers (if you have the Lower Tray
Assembly, open the
upper left side door).
Caution Do not clean the transfer roller; alcohol and pressing on the
roller can damage the roller and cause print-quality problems.
