The following procedure is based on the scenario that you want to remove a full-height, half-length PCIe
card installed on the riser card. The procedure is similar if you want to remove a full-height, full-length
PCIe card installed on the riser card.

To remove a PCIe card from the riser card assembly, do the following:

1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the server. Then, disconnect all

power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the server.
