Selecting a reference point on a single element

Select the mode for specifying the reference point

Click the element on which you want to set the
reference point with the left mouse button: The
TNC indicates possible locations for reference
points on the selected element with stars

Click the star you want to select as reference
point: The TNC sets the reference-point symbol to
the selected location. Use the zoom function if the
selected element is too small

Selecting a reference point on the intersection of two elements

Select the mode for specifying the reference point

Click the first element (straight line, complete
circle or circular arc) with the left mouse button:
The TNC indicates possible locations for reference
points on the selected element with stars

Click the second element (straight line, complete
circle or circular arc) with the left mouse button:
The TNC sets the reference-point symbol on the
intersection

The TNC calculates the intersection of two elements
even if it is on the extension of one of these
elements.

If the TNC calculates multiple intersections, it selects
the intersection nearest the mouse-click on the
second element.

If the TNC cannot calculate an intersection, it
rescinds the marking of the first element.
