Ethernet Settings Page
Summary
The ‘CR Series Ethernet settings’ page lists compact routers and remote panel modules available
on the CRSC network. Click ‘CR Series Ethernet Settings’ in the navigation pane to view the ‘CR
Series Ethernet Settings’ page:

The table columns presents the following option or information:
Column
Description
Update
Check the check box to select the device listed on that row for updating.
Name
Name assigned to the compact router or remote panel.
Frame type
Type (or model number) of compact router or remote panel.
IP address
IP address currently assigned to the device.
Subnet mask
Subnet mask currently assigned to the device. It is recommended that you leave the
subnet mask at 255.255.255.0.
Gateway IP
Gateways are not used except by third-party systems or occasionally by an NV9000
system. Developers may use the gateway and subnet mask fields in any way they find
useful. A gateway setting is not needed for a normal compact router setup.
Mode
The ‘Mode’ column is status-only and displays how the particular router or remote
panel module is configured. These are the 3 possible “modes”:
NA
—
The device is either a remote panel module or a router with old software.
Config
—
The device is a router configured by CRSC.
Default
—
No settings have been changed and the device is a router in the factory
default mode.
Default+IP
—
For CR6400 routers only, this means that no settings have been changed
except the IP address, and the device is a router in the factory default mode.
