8.1.2 Defining New Codes and Attributes
Layers, Codes and Attributes can be
added to a Codelist. When a
Thematical Codelist has been se-
lected, the CODES (F3) and LAYER
(F5) keys will be available.
To create new Codes and Attributes
press CODES (F3).
The list of existing codes is given.
Press NEW (F2) to create a new
code.
Select the Layer on which the code
will exist. To add a new Layer, press
ENTER and NEW (F2). Refer to the
next section for details.
Enter the new Code and its Code
Name.
To add or edit attributes, press ATRIB
(F4).
Enter a meaningful name for the
Attribute.
Move to the next field with the cursor.
You may enter a default value for the
Attribute.
Press NEW (F2) to add another new
attribute. Press CONT (F1) to con-
tinue.
