Establishing the Connection Between ChromLab
Software and the NGC Systems
Verify that you completed the following tasks:
 Connected the touch screen to the NGC instrument
 Connected all required peripheral equipment including:
 BioFrac™ fraction collector
 Air sensor module (if used)
 C-96 autosampler (if used)
 Connected the NGC instrument to the ChromLab computer
 Installed ChromLab on the ChromLab computer
Powering on the NGC Instrument and Peripherals
1. Connect a power cable to the power outlet on the back of the NGC instrument
and to the main power outlet.
2. Press the power switch on the back of the NGC instrument to the ON position.
3. Power on the attached peripheral equipment, specifically:
 BioFrac fraction collector
Note: You must power on the BioFrac fraction collector before
powering on the NGC system so that the fraction collector is
recognized during system setup.
 C-96 autosampler (if used)
