3. Immerse the open end of the waste tubing in the waste container.
4. Connect Tube #2 from the 40 psi backpressure regulator that you connected in
step 2 on page 105 to the inlet port (In) on the pH valve.
5. Connect Tube #4 to the outlet port (Out) on the pH valve.
6. Connect the other end of Tube #4 to the Common port on the BioFrac fraction
collector diverter valve.
Tip: To clean the pH valve, immerse the outlet lines into a waste container and
the inlet lines into cleaning solution. Perform the system wash step in
ChromLab as explained in the section System CIP (Clean in Place) — Storage
Parameters in the NGC Chromatography Systems and ChromLab Software
User Guide.
