Preparing the ChromLab Computer
To ensure the ChromLab computer operates the NGC system smoothly and
accurately displays ChromLab software you might need to
Turn off sleep/hibernate mode
Turn off automatic updates
Set the display fonts
To turn off sleep/hibernate mode
1.
On the ChromLab computer, select Control Panel > Power Options and click
Change plan settings for the selected power plan.
2.
On the Change settings for the plan page, click Change advanced power
settings.
3.
On the Advanced settings tab, expand the Sleep option, then expand Sleep
after and do one of the following:
If your ChromLab computer is a laptop, click On battery or Plugged in (or
both) and select Never from the dropdown list.
If your ChromLab computer is a desktop computer, click Setting and select
Never from the dropdown list.
4.
On the Advanced settings tab, expand Hibernate after, and then do one of the
following:
If your ChromLab computer is a laptop, click On battery or Plugged in (or
both) and select Never from the dropdown list.
If your ChromLab computer is a desktop computer, click Setting and select
Never from the dropdown list.
5.
Click OK to save the settings and close the Power Options dialog box.
