Upgrading ChromLab
Software and NGC Systems
This appendix explains how to upgrade ChromLab™ software and your NGC™
system from a previous version to the current version.
Caution:
Before beginning the upgrade process, ensure that you have saved
all manual runs, and that no methods are running.
Upgrading ChromLab Software
To upgrade ChromLab software to the current version
1.
Insert the ChromLab Software CD into your CD-ROM drive. The ChromLab
installer automatically launches.
If the ChromLab installer does not automatically start:
a.
In Windows Explorer, navigate to and open the ChromLab Software CD
drive.
b.
Double-click ChromLab_Setup.exe to start the ChromLab installer.
2.
The installer automatically detects that an earlier version of ChromLab is
installed and removes it before installing the current version.
Note:
Upgrading ChromLab and the database can take several minutes.
3.
When the upgrade process is complete, click Finish to exit the wizard.
