Adding Custom Click Types

You can also add your own custom ctypes to an XSLT stylesheet. Any ctype values that you add remain
within your system only and are not tracked by Google. Ensure that any ctype values that you add do
not duplicate the built in ctype values.

If you want to track user clicks on elements other than links (such as buttons), refer to the clicklog.js file
on the Google Search Appliance. (clicklog_compiled.js is an optimized version of this file that reduces
the download size and browser latency.)

Adding Click Types to OneBox Modules

If you have OneBox modules where you want to track user clicks, add the onebox ctype to onebox-
default.xsl. To edit onebox-default.xsl, use the Serving > OneBox Modules page in the Admin Console
or an editor of your choice.
