Operating procedure during a local site storage system failure (with information lost
from memory)
The following are the procedures that must be performed when a failure, with information lost from
memory, occurs in the local site storage system.
Preparing
If a failure has occurred in the local site storage system, use the Cnt Ac-S Z Consistency Preservation
Function to suspend the Cnt Ac-S Z copy pairs. If a script containing the following actions has been
executed before the storage system failure occurs, the processing necessary for failure recovery is
automatically executed after the failure.

From the primary site, execute the YKCONMSG command.
Execute the command so that an IEA494I message is detected.
