When the Cnt Ac-S consistency preservation function is used
•
If the SUSPER status is detected for a Cnt Ac-S copy group.
Immediately execute the YKFREEZE, YKSUSPND SELECT(COND) and YKRUN commands for
the Cnt Ac-S copy group, and then execute the YKSUSPND SELECT(COND) command for
the Cnt Ac-J Z copy group. After these commands have finished, determine the cause of the
failure, and then restore the copy group according to the failure. After restoration, execute
the YKRESYNC SELECT(COND) VOLUNIT command for the Cnt Ac-S copy group, and then
execute the YKRESYNC SELECT(COND) VOLUNIT command for the Cnt Ac-J Z copy group.

If the SUSPER status is detected for a Cnt Ac-J Z copy group.
Error monitoring for the Cnt Ac-S copy group continues. Determine the cause of the failure,
and then restore the copy group according to the failure. After restoration, execute the
YKRESYNC SELECT(COND) VOLUNIT
command for the Cnt Ac-J Z copy group.
Changing Configurations of Cnt Ac-S Z and Cnt Ac-J Z Copy Groups
The following explains how to change a copy group configuration.
To add a volume:
To add a volume, define a copy pair that contains a volume to be added and another copy pair
that shares one of the volumes in that copy pair. After that, make a copy pair for the Cnt Ac-S Z
copy group first, and then for the Cnt Ac-J Z copy group.
