Perform the following procedure from the primary host. In this procedure, steps 1 to 6 (steps for
defining copy groups) are performed from the ISPF panel.
1.
Define a copy group container between the primary and local sites by using the Cnt Ac-S Z
Consistency Preservation Function (TCCG in
).
To use the Cnt Ac-S Z Consistency Preservation Function, specify a consistency group ID in
the Setting C/T ID Attributes panel, and then specify Y for FREEZE SCP in the Copy Group
Attributes panel.
2.
Define an EXCTG between the primary and remote sites (UREX1 in
).
In the Copy Group Attributes For Container (UR) panel, specify a mirror ID (1, 2, or 3) for
MIRROR ID.
