Creating a Copy Group
Create a copy group from the primary site.
To add a new journal group to a 4x4 configuration:
1.
Change the copy pair status of the EXCTG to DUPLEX to make the copy direction the same
within the group.
2.
Add the journal group to an EXCTG.
The procedure for adding a journal group to an EXCTG is similar to that for adding a
consistency group to a copy group container.
3.
Execute the YKQUERY command.
4.
Execute the YKMAKE command with SELECT(COND) specified.
A copy pair for the added journal group is created, and the journal group is registered in the
EXCTG of the storage system.
