Chapter 9 – Reinstalling the Spire CX260
To back up the Spire CX260:
1.
Back up system partition C (Last Image configuration).
2.
Back up the job list database.
3.
Move the backups to an external device or to a network.

Select
Start > Run, type
E:
and click
OK. Copy only the files located on
E:LI.GHO and E:LIxxx.GHO (Last Image configurations)
To restore the Spire CX260:
1.
Restore system partition C (Last Image configuration).
•
Restore the Last Image configuration.
2.
Restore the job list database.
Backing Up the Job List Database
When you back up the Spire CX260 Last Image configuration (see Backing Up the
CX260 Last Image Configuration on page 216), your job list database is also backed
up.
If, at some later date, you restore the configuration, the original job list database will
be restored, thus replacing your current job list database. Therefore, it’s important to
always have a current backup of your job list database.
To back up the job list database:
1.
Exit the Spire CX260 software and wait for the Spire icon to disappear from the
desktop taskbar.
2.
On the Windows desktop, double-click
My Computer, and locate
D:\Backup\Scripts.
3.
In the
D:\Backup\Scripts folder, double-click Backup_Joblist.bat.
Note: To back up the job list database on the CX260 basic configuration, you
must be connected to the Spire CX260 via the Remote Desktop Connection.
