My Treo makes or answers calls when it’s
in a bag or pocket
Items in your bag or pocket may be
pressing the onscreen Answer button or
otherwise activating screen items. If this
happens, be sure to press Power/End
to turn off the screen before
placing your Treo in a bag or pocket. You
may also want to disable the screen’s
touch-sensitive feature during incoming
calls (see Locking your screen).
Hands-free devices
I can’t make or receive calls using a
Bluetooth hands-free device
Confirm all the following:
•
The Bluetooth device is compatible with
your Treo 680. Go to www.palm.com/
treo680cingular-support for a list of
compatible devices.
•
Press Applications
and select
Bluetooth
. Make sure the
Bluetooth setting is On.
•
You have already formed a partnership
between your Treo 680 and your
hands-free device, and that the
hands-free device appears in the
Trusted Devices list. (see Connecting to
a Bluetooth hands-free device).
•
Your hands-free device is charged and
turned on.
•
Your Treo is within range of the
hands-free device.
If the problem persists, turn the Bluetooth
setting Off and then turn it On again. If it
still persists, create a new partnership with
the hands-free device (see Connecting to a
Bluetooth hands-free device).

TIP
Bluetooth range is up to 30 feet in
optimum environmental conditions.
Performance and range may be affected by
physical obstacles, radio interference from
nearby electronic equipment, and other
factors.
