As shown in the following diagram, the force reference filter contains one force reference filter and two notch
filters arrayed in series, and each filter operates independently. The notch filters can be enabled and disabled
using the parameters.
Software version earlier than 32 does not have the parameters for the First Stage Notch Filter Q Value
(Pn40A) and the Second Stage Notch Filter (Pn40B and Pn40C).
(1) Force Reference Filter
If you suspect that machine vibration is being caused by the servodrive, try adjusting the force reference filter
time constant. This may stop the vibration. The lower the value, the better the speed control response, but there is
a lower limit that depends on the machine conditions.
