7.5.5 DC Reactor for Harmonic Suppression

(1) Reactor Types

The SERVOPACK has the DC reactor connection terminals for power supply harmonic suppression. However,
SERVOPACKs with capacity of 7.5 kW do not have these terminals. The type of DC reactor to be connected dif-
fers depending on the SERVOPACK capacity. Refer to the following table.

Note: Select a proper DC reactor for the input current to the SERVOPACK.

Refer to 2.6.2 Molded-case Circuit Breaker and Fuse Capacity for input current to each
SERVOPACK. For the kind of reactor, refer to 7.5.5 DC Reactor for Harmonic Suppres-
sion
.

(2) Connecting a Reactor

Connect a DC reactor as shown in the following diagram. The DC reactor is connected in series to the rectifier
circuit’s output side.

Note: 1. The SERVOPACK

1 and

2 terminals for the DC reactor are short-circuited before ship-

ment. Remove the lead wire between these two terminals and connect the DC reactor with SER-
VOPACK.

2. DC reactor is an option (Provided by customer).
