Configuring rules for a policy

The Rule Configuration area of

Figure 18-7

shows all rules of the policy. On the rule list, you can

modify a rule.

Click Add to add a rule to the policy, and the rule will appear on the rule list, as shown in

Figure

18-8

.

z

Click the

icon, and the Rule page appears, as shown in

Figure 18-9

.

The Rule Configuration area is different from the Rule page as follows:

z

You can add or delete time table-action set associations for a service on the Rule page, but you

cannot do that in the Rule Configuration area.

z

With the Rate Limit action set selected, you can set upstream/downstream bandwidth, bandwidth

per connection, connection establishment rate, and maximum connection number on the Rule

page, but you can configure only the upstream/downstream bandwidth in the Rule Configuration

area.

z

You can modify the service to be matched and create new time tables in the Rule Configuration

area, but you cannot do that on the Rule page.
