Table 18-5 describes the configuration items of creating a policy application.

Item Remarks
Name Set the name for the bandwidth management policy to be created.
Description
Set the description information for the policy, such as the purpose of the
policy.
Working Mode
Set the working mode of the bandwidth management policy:
z Group mode: Controls the total bandwidth of users conforming to the
policy.
z User mode: Controls the bandwidth of each user conforming to the policy.
Up Bandwidth for
All Rules
Set the total bandwidth for all upstream traffic matching the policy.
Create a
Policy
Down Bandwidth
for All Rules
Set the total bandwidth for all downstream traffic matching the policy.
Rule Configuration
Set the rules for the bandwidth management policy. For more information,
see
Configuring rules for a policy .
By default, a rule for the service Default exists, and you cannot delete the
rule.
Apply Policy to
Apply the policy to the desired scopes. For more information, see Defining the
policy application scopes .
