Configuring Email Parameters
The Email notification function enables the system to automatically send Emails to the specified users
when the modules such as action management detect attacks. The mail configuration module allows
you to configure the parameters for sending mails with the mail
To ensure a successful sending of Emails, you must configure the Email notification function and mail
parameters correctly.
Select Log Management > Log Configuration > Mail Configuration to enter the page as shown in
Figure 13-22 Mail configuration
describes the configuration items for Email parameters.

Item
Description
Mail Server IP
Set the IP address or domain name of the mail server.
Src Mail Address
Set the source mail address.
Dest Mail Address
Set the destination mail address, which you can input multiple mail addresses,
separated by semicolons “;”.
Local Domain Name
Set the name of the domain to which the mail server belongs.
Perform Authentication
Set whether the mail server requires authentication.
If you select this option, you need to set the username and password used for
logging in to the mail server.
Log on Using SPA
Set whether the mail server requires a secure password for login authentication.
Username
Set the username for logging in to the mail server if the mail server requires
authentication.
