Category-Based URL
Rule

Configure a category-based URL filtering rule.

Click the expansion button next to Category-Based URL Rule to expand the
configuration field, as shown in

User-Defined URL Rule

Configure a user-defined URL rule.

Click the expansion button next to User-Defined URL Rule to expand the

Default URL Rule

Configure a default URL rule for the HTTP requests that match neither the
category-based URL rules nor the user-defined URL rules.

Apply Policy to

Specify the range to which the URL filtering policy is applied.

This field displays the segment the policy is applied to and the IP addresses and
excluded IP addresses in the internal zone. Click Add to enter the policy
application configuration page, as shown in

Figure 15-11

Configuring a category-based URL rule

On the category-based URL rule configuration page shown in

Figure 15-6

, all the URL categories that a

URL category server can identify are displayed in groups on the left. Click a category group, and all

categories of the group and the corresponding action parameters are displayed on the right.
