By default:
•
The NetStream traditional data
export uses the version 9 format.
•
MPLS flow data is not exported.
•
The peer AS numbers are exported
for the source and destination.
•
The BGP next hop is not exported.
A NetStream entry for a flow records the source IP address and destination IP address, and two AS
numbers for each IP address. You can choose to configure which AS numbers to be exported as the
source AS and destination AS:
•
origin-as—Exports statistics of the source AS originating the route for the source address and the
destination AS for the destination address.
•
peer-as—Exports statistics of the peer ASs for the source and destination address.
For example, as shown in
, a flow starts at AS 20, passes AS 21 through AS 23, and then
reaches AS 24. NetStream is enabled on the device in AS 22. If the origin-as keyword is specified, the
command exports statistics of AS 20 (the source AS) and AS 24 (the destination AS). If the peer-as
keyword is specified, the command exports statistics of AS 21 (the source AS) and AS 23 (the destination
AS).
