You can configure global or group-specific load sharing criteria. A link aggregation group preferentially
uses the group-specific load sharing criteria. If no group-specific load sharing criteria is available, it
uses the global load sharing criteria.
Configuring the global link-aggregation load sharing criteria

By default, the system
automatically chooses the global
link-aggregation load sharing
criterion or criteria based on
packet types. For example, for
Layer 2 traffic, the default are the
source and destination MAC
addresses of packets; for Layer 3
traffic, the default are the source
and destination IP addresses of
packets.
This command applies only to the
load sharing criteria of Layer 3
packets. After you configure this
command, the Layer 3 load
sharing criteria in current link
aggregation group change
accordingly, but the Layer 2 load
sharing modes will not be affected,
it stays at the default.
