Appendix A - Configuring Reader Messages
The CFN system supports customized reader messages. These messages are defined in the
dpt_str.ini file in p:/ .
There are predefined custom messages that can be substituted for the default messages by
copying the custom file and overwriting dpt_str.ini with it. These are:
• dpt_amc.ini for Amoco
• dpt_cat.ini for Merit
• dpt_cit.ini for Citgo
• dpt_norm.ini for Default
The messages can also be manually customized by editing p:dpt_str.ini. Below is a list of the
names of messages that can be redefined. If a message name is not listed in the dpt_str.ini file,
then the default string will be displayed for that message. For any message to be redefined,
simply put a line in the file in the following format:
